Dodder Bridge Design Competition
Dodder Bridge Design Competition.
The architectural design competition was specifically aimed at young architects and attracted a total of 43 entries. The brief required a simple footbridge connecting the banks of the Dodder in Ballsbridge and required a change in level across the bridge while maintaining regulation compliant slopes. Although not the winining entry, David Doyle Architects used the competition as a valuable design excercise and a means of testing new presentation software and techniques. The well deserved winning entry was by Nex Architecture based in London
