Donnybrook Refurbishment & Extension

The clients had been looking for a property to put their stamp on for quite a while when they came across a 3 bed family dwelling in a quiet residential part of Donnybrook, Dublin. The house was in very poor condition and required an almost complete re-build while taking the opportunity to provide 2 more bedrooms and open up the structure to the rear garden space. The design sought to make the plan provide as much as possible while still allowing for plenty of transparency and light to the rear living-kitchen-dining space. The garden was designed in conjunction with the house which allowed for the views to the rear to be carefully controlled and thought through.
