Wynn's Hotel, Dublin
Wynn's Hotel, located in Dublin city centre is a well known landmark building and protected structure rebuilt after the Rising of 1916. While employed by O'Briain Beary Architects Ltd., David Doyle was project architect for a number of projects of varying value and complexity in this challenging urban site. Projects involved the installation of new sunken goods lift to the front pavement next to the Luas tracks, a number of high quality bedroom extensions and refurbishments, works to protected mahogany paneling & various high end joinery pieces, installation of 2no. new commercial kitchens, ancilliary spaces and servery counters, refurbished and extended restaurant and bar - all while maintaining the services, environmental controls and fire escape routes within a busy constantly occupied hotel.
