House at Rathfarnham - Refurbishment & Extension

David Doyle Architects were appointed to refurbish and extend a beautiful double fronted Victorian house in Rathfarnham. Along with making the kitchen more generous in size the client was eager to add a light filled Orangerie for their love of plants. The end of the rear garden provided an opportunity to build a new garden pavilion that complimented the main house in terms of its style and allowed for additional space for the client and their young family. A highly skilled contractor in INEX Works Ltd., along with top quality sub-contractors and suppliers in the form of Woodale Kitchen and the local Antica Stone Gallery, resulted in a top quality refurbishment and extension to give the house at least another 100 years of family use.
